Huawei has officially released its new Mate 9 Pro in a launch event in China yesterday. After the announcement of two new phones- Mate 9 and Mate 9 Porsche edition recently, the new Mate 9 Pro considered to make yet another add-on to the Mate Series.
This new powerful device will carry the same specs and designs as the Mate 9 Porsche Edition except for the spectacular Porsche branding and the price tag as well.
The Mate 9 Pro features a 5.5 inch Quad HD AMOLED display packed with a Kirin 960 64 bit-octa core processor. It sports the second generation dual Leica camera setup with rear camera 20 megapixel and 12megapixel along with an 8megapixel front camera.
The new phone from the Mate series is said to have the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
Even though the Mate 9 Pro price tags are slightly a bit cheaper than its Porsche edition, the new device with the variants 4GB RAM paired with 64GB of storage is priced at Rs.4,699 Yuan($686USD) while the other version with 6GB RAM with 128GB storage will come for a price of Rs.5,299 Yuan($774USD) in China.
Regarding its release and availability in other markets (US and EU especially), the company has not shared any information as to whether it will avail the new Mate 9 Pro smartphones in countries other than China.
