The Chinese handset maker Huawei on Monday launched the Huawei Nova Lite+ and Nova Young in Italy. The Huawei Nova Lite+ is listed on the company official Italian website while the Nova Young smartphone is listed on Amazon Italy and ePrice. Huawei has not revealed the price for these two devices, besides there is no mention of the pricing on the official website as well. However, on the Italian e-retail site ePrice, the Nova Lite+ is listed at €169 and the Nova Young for €122.26 respectively.

Talking about the Nova Lite+ first, the phone features a 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 resolution. It is powered by a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC (system-on-chip) paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB inbuilt storage. The storage is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone runs EMUI 5.1 based Android 7.0 Nougat.

As far as the optics are concerned, the Nova Lite+ features a 12-megapixel sensor with LED flash and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). Up front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. The smartphone is fueled by a large 4000mAh battery which is rated to deliver 20 hours of video playback. It offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, AGPS, Glonass and Micro-USB port under its connectivity suite. Sensors on board include- ambient light sensor, digital compass and proximity sensor.

The Huwaei Nova Young meanwhile features a 5-inch HD (720×1280 resolution) IPS display. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6737T processor paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB native storage which is further expandable using microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EMUI 4.1 skin on top. As for the camera, the Nova Young carries a 13-megapixel rear sensor with dual-LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity options on the device include-  4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, AGPS, and Micro-USB port. It packs a 3000mAh battery.

The Huawei Nova Lite+ is available in three colour variants- Frost, Silver, and Prestige Gold, meanwhile the Nova Young will come in two colour schemes- Gold and White. Notably, Huawei has not shared any information on whether these two new handsets from the Nova series shall make its way outside the Italian smartphone market.
