HTC may have geared up to announce HTC U11+ in India. It’s the same handset that made a global appearance last week. HTC U11+ is priced at €799 (approximately Rs 60,175) in Europe. The latest flagship smartphone by HTC is an upgrade over its previously announced HTC U11. HTC U11+ is now found listed on official HTC India website, implying that the launch could be imminent.

HTC U11+ differs from HTC U11 (Review) in terms of display size, battery capacity, selfie camera, and software. It comes with a bigger display, more battery life, and Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The selfie camera, however, is 8-megapixel unlike 16-megapixel on HTC U11. That aside, all other specifications remain pretty much the same.
HTC U11+ sports a bigger 6-inch screen. Powering the handset is Qualcomm’s top of the line Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with Adreno 540 GPU for graphics. It features two memory configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. It lacks a 3.55mm headphone jack similar to HTC U11 and packs a 3,930mAh battery with QC 3.0.
Unlike before, HTC‘s latest flagship is IP68 rated so that it can submerge up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes under water. As for photography, it houses a 12-megapixel main camera. Up front, there’s a 8-megapixel secondary shooter for selfies.
