    • HTC U11 Life tipped to be a mid-range device
    • T-Mobile listing reveals Snapdragon 630 processor under the hood
    • The phone is said to have IP67 rated water & dust resistance

HTC is widely expected to unveil two smartphones under its U series, the supposed HTC U11 Plus and the HTC U11 Life. The Plus variant is said to feature a minimal bezel 18:9 display, while the U11 Life could perhaps be a mid-range smartphone that is expected to come with Android One. The Taiwanese company has scheduled an event for November 2 where it is expected to announce the HTC U11 Life.

But while the handset is yet to see the light (official unwrapping), all the possible details have already been exposed ahead of its official announcement. A product listing on US mobile carrier T-Mobile has revealed almost the entire specification sheet of the device. As per the listing, the HTC U11 Life will feature a 5-2-inch 1080p display. The phone is fueled by Qualcomm’s latest mobile platform Snapdragon 630 SoC. It will pack 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage with microSD expansion.

As far as the optics are concerned, the U11 Life might have a 16-megapixel sensor both front and rear side. The phone will ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat with HTC Sense skin. It will carry a 2600mAh battery and have IP67 rated water and dust resistance. Surprisingly, there is no mention of Android One on the product list outed by T-Mobile. The HTC U11 Life will support 4G LTE and come with WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, and NFC connectivity options.

Apparently, Android Police got hold of a diagram of the phone as well that shows the button and sensor placement on the device. As one can see, the volume keys and power button are located on the right side. The front-facing camera is sitting at the top right corner. The diagram also confirms the phone will have the U11 popular feature, ‘Edge Sense’. The phone is expected to have Sense Companion, Amazon Alexa as well besides Google’s voice-based assistant. The HTC U11 Life support page has been taken down by the mobile carrier. Pricing and availability have not been revealed, however, a recent report suggests that U11 Life might be priced starting at €369 (). The phone is tipped to offer three colour choices- Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Black and Ice White.
