Mobile World Congress apparently brings all the leaks to the yard. After LG and Motorola were hit with their share of leaks, next in like is HTC. The HTC One X10 has allegedly been put on display in two photos as reported by slashleaks. The phone is supposed to be the mid-range success to the HTC One X9 from last year.
Taking a look at the images, the phone looks like it will carry on the tradition of the metal build for the One series. The phone is still in the plastic wrap in the photos, but it is clear that there is no physical buttons, however the back, recent and home commands have dedicated space at the bottom of the screen. The back has the camera unit and dual-LED flash.
The HTC One X10 will allegedly have a 5.5-inch full HD display and will be powered by the MediaTek Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.9GHz. Interestingly, the HTC One X9 came with the Helio X10 processor clocked at a higher 2.2GHz which is a higher grade SoC than the P10 chip. While there aren’t any confirmed reports to corroborate the SoC being used, if the HTC One X10 is indeed using the P10, it could considered a downgrade from its predecessor. For all that it has to offer, the HTC One X10 will allegedly come with a price tag of 1680 Yuan (approx. Rs 16,397) and 1200 Yuan (approx. Rs 11,712) based on different variants.
While the photos may be real, we’re not sure if the specs leaked so far are 100% reliable. We’d recommend a pinch of salt when it comes to the specs, or just waiting till an official announcement is made, hopefully at MWC 2017.
