The invite posted on the micro blogging site didn’t reveal much detail about the device except for the launch date. However, images of the supposed Honor V9 Play recently cropped up on the Chinese telecom certification authority, TENAA. The images on the site showed off the phone featuring a metal unibody design with a fingerprint sensor embedded on the rear panel. Antenna lines could be seen running on top and bottom of the back panel with the honor branding down below. The volume keys and power button are seen located on the right side.
