Huawei’s sub-brand Honor recently unveiled its dual camera smartphone, Honor 8 Pro in India but without a price tag. The e-retail site Amazon India however, has now teased the availability of the device saying that it will launch on July 6.

The company has teased the device on its official India website with a “Notify Me” option so that buyers can get notified as soon as the device launches. The teaser also confirms that the smartphone will be an Amazon exclusive. Honor 8 Pro will launch on July 6 and the pricing is expected to be reveal on the same day itself. Notably the Honor 8 Pro was officially introduced at a global price of EUR 549 (Roughly Rs. 39,500).

The Honor 8 Pro features a 5.7-inch QHD display with a resolution of 1440×2560 pixels, with LTPS (Low-temperature polycrystalline silicon) technology. The phone packs a massive 4,000 mAh battery and is powered by the HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The device comes with an enormous 128GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The dual SIM Honor 8 Pro runs Emotion UI 5.1 based Android 7.0 Nougat.

In the camera department, the smartphone includes a dual camera setup at the rear, both being 12-megapixel with f/2.2 aperture and also supports 4K video recording. One camera lens takes pictures in RGB while the other takes in monochrome. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture and is capable of taking pictures at 1080p. The phone will be available in Navy Blue and Midnight Black colour choices.
