Honor 8 Lite has received a price cut of Rs 2,000 and now retailing for Rs 15,999. The price cut is applicable to both the colour options like Black and Blue. To recall, the Honor 8 Lite was launched in India back in May for a price of Rs. 17,999.
Honor 8 Pro sports a 5.2-inch full HD LTPS display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. Powering the handset is Kirin 655 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Internal storage is at 64GB which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
While the Honor 8 pegs in dual cameras on the rear side, its lighter version has a single camera setup. The Honor 8 Lite (Review) sports a 12-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and autofocus. Up front, it packs an 8-megapixel camera sensor with 77-degree wide-angle lens. The phone runs Android 7.0 Nougat with company in-house EMUI 5.0 skin on top.
Honor is gearing up to launch its latest mid-range handset, the Honor 7X in India next month. The phone flaunts minimal bezel 5.93-inch display with 2160×1080 pixel resolution. It has a metal unibody design and dual rear cameras stacked above the top antenna band on the rear side. Powered by an octa-core Kirin 659 SoC the chipset is paired with Mali-T830 GPU for graphics. Notably, Honor hosted registrations for the smartphone last week on the e-retail site Amazon India.
