Huawei’s sub-brand Honor today launched the Honor 6X smartphone in India. The dual rear camera smartphone is priced at starting Rs. 12,999 and will be sold exclusively at Amazon India starting February 2nd.
The biggest highlight of Honor 6X is its dual rear camera setup. The two cameras combination at the back have a 12-megapixel PDAF sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The fingerprint sensor sits below the camera module.
Upfront, the Honor 6X features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display and an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies. It is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 655 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The handset supports microSD card expansion (up to 128GB).
The Honor 6X supports hybrid dual-SIM with 4G VoLTE. You can either use two SIM cards at one time or one SIM card and a microSD card. The handset measures 150.9 x 72.6 x 8.2mm and weighs 162 grams. It is backed by a 3340mAh Li-Ion battery with support for fast charging.
The smartphone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company’s Emotion UI (EMUI) 4.1 skinned on top. The Honor 6X will be sold exclusively on Amazon India via flash sales from February 2nd. The Honor 6X 3GB and 32GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999, whereas the 4GB and 64GB variant will be avaialble for Rs. 15,999. The device comes in three colours options – Gold, Silver and Grey. Registrations for the first flash is already open. Honor is additionally providing 10% cashback for SBI account holders and 14GB free data for select Airtel recharges on Honor 6X.
