Gionee, back in May, launched the S10 alongside the S10C smartphones in China. Today, it has gone ahead and launched the S10 Lite in India, which is quite similar to the S10C. The USP of the device is its 16-megapixel selfie camera with flash. The Gionee S10 Lite is priced at Rs 15,999 and will be available from December 23 across India exclusively via their offline distribution channels. It will be made available in Gold and Black colour options.
Gionee is offering the initial customers who purchase the device two Paytm Cashback Voucher Codes of Rs 250 each, which will be valid on a minimum purchase of Rs 350 on Paytm Mall. Reliance Jio subscribers will also be getting 5GB of additional data per month for 10 consecutive months on recharges of Rs 309 or above.
As for the specifications, the Gionee S10 Lite sports a 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB. There’s a fingerprint scanner located at the front. All of this is backed by a 3,100mAh non-removable battery and runs Google’s Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with the company’s own Amigo 4.0 UI on top.
As for the camera, it features a 13-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/2.0 at the rear. On the front, it features a 16-megapixel selfie camera with fixed-focus and an aperture of f/2.0 along with a front flash. As far as connectivity goes, the device features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
