Gionee is all set to launch M7 Power in India next week. The company has sent out media invites for an event scheduled for November 15 in New Delhi. Gionee M7 Power first appeared in China in September. The key highlight, it packs a huge 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. Gionee M7 Power is also the company’s first smartphone to feature 18:9 display.
We successfully predicted last week that Gionee M7 Power is on the verge to arrive in India this month.
As for the specifications, the Gionee M7 Power sports a 6-inch FullView display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor with a clock speed of 1.4GHz. It comes with 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The smartphone is expected to go up against the Oppo F5 and Vivo V7+, both of which feature a full-screen display as well. It runs on Google’s Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with the company’s own Amigo OS 5.0 skin on top. All of this is backed by a 5,000mAh non-removable battery.
As for the camera, it comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. On the front, it features an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The cameras support various modes, like slow motion, backlight, group selfie, night, time lapse, translation, and much more. The price of the device is currently unknown.
