Coolpad has slashed the prices of its three best selling smartphones today – Coolpad Cool 1, Coolpad Note 5 and Coolpad Note 5 Lite in India. This news comes just after the news of LeEco selling its stake in Coolpad. These devices from now on will stay at these discounted prices starting today exclusively on Amazon India. Additionally, the company is also offering these devices with 0 percent interest EMIs on select credit cards.

The Coolpad Cool 1 during the Amazon sale was selling at these prices, however, now Coolpad has made the price drop permanent. It was the first smartphone that the company launched in partnership with LeEco, and was also the first one to bring dual camera setup to the budget price segment. Previously the Cool 1 was priced at Rs 14,999 for the 4GB + 32GB variant and Rs 11,999 for the 3GB + 32GB variant. Both are now available for Rs 8,999 and Rs 7,999 respectively.

The pricing is quite impressive given the fact that the phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC which is generally found in upper mid-range smartphones. However, the phone does not have a memory card slot for further storage expansion.

The second smartphone on the list is the Coolpad Note 5 which was priced at Rs 11,999 and can now be purchased for Rs 7,999. The Coolpad Note 5 at the time of launch was one of the cheapest devices to sport 4GB of RAM, with decent specifications. It sports a 5.5-inch HD display. It is powered by an older Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC along with 32GB of internal storage.

It was as per the company a smaller version of the Note 5, and sports a 5-inch HD display, 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage. It is powered by an entry-level MediaTek MT6735 processor and is backed by a 2,500mAh battery.
