Coolpad might be soon launching two new smartphones in India, according to a report by Digit. The report states that one of the devices will sport a display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and the other will come with a dual camera setup on the front for selfies. These are the two market areas that are currently seeing tremendous growth in the country. The report has cited Syed Tajuddin, CEO, Coolpad India who has confirmed that the company is working on both the devices currently, the pricing and the availability is also not yet confirmed.

Interestingly the company at the launch event is also said to announce a new colour variant, Classic Black for the Cool Play 6 which was initially launched only in the gold colour variant.

Coolpad Mega 2.5D

As per the report, the company will launch the Coolpad S1 and the Mega 4A  which were both announced alongside the Cool Play 6 at an event recently held in Dubai. Both the devices are expected to launch in India before Diwali. It is also being said that the Mega 4A will be the budget offering from the company and will be priced at Rs. 5,999.

The Coolpad S1 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1920×1080. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset and features a 16-megapixel primary camera. Currently, it sells for 2,599 Yuan (Roughly Rs. 25,716) in China.
