All the chipsets that Nokia might use in their smartphones have leaked as reported by Nokia Power User. The report citing Baidu as their source said that they have all the names of the processors that Nokia will be using in their upcoming Android smartphones. The report also mentioned that they had spotted Nokia phones running on Snapdragon 835, Snapdragon 660, and Snapdragon 630 chipsets on GeekBench. These might belong to the long rumoured Nokia 7, Nokia 8, and Nokia 9.
Nokia Power User further said that they contacted sources in Nokia and got to know that the Nokia 7, 8, and 9 processors are ‘correct’ and prototypes of powered by these SoCs are under testing. The report, however, has cited that the Nokia 2 might not be running on the Snapdragon 212 SoC and could be powered by a MideaTek processor.
Below is the List of processors that was leaked on Baidu –
In the recent past, there was also a report on Nokia partnering up with Xiaomi to use their Surge S1 processor in some of the upcoming Nokia smartphones. As there is no mention of the Surge S1 processor in the leak, we think that the list might not be correct. Nothing in this leak might be set in stone as the companies keep on changing their strategies and phones until they launch it to adjust their products to the market.
