Canon launched a new mirrorless camera in India this week, the EOS M100, thus expanding its M series of camera lineup. The Canon EOS M100 sports a price tag of Rs 39,995. Canon had announced this camera in the U.S. back in August. It has a 24.2-megapixel image sensor along with the provision for interchangeable lenses. Along with this camera, the company also launched a handful of new lenses to go along with it: TS-E50mm f/2.8L Macro, TS-E90mm f/2.8L Macro, TS-E135mm f/4L Macro, EF85mm f/1.4L IS USM and Macro Twin Lite MT-26EX-RT.
As for the specifications, the Canon EOS M100 sports a 24.2-megapixel APS-CMOS sensor alongside the company’s proprietary DIGIC 7 processor. The company claims that the processor enables the camera to take still images at 6.1fps using fixed focus and up to 4fps in burst mode. It also includes a Dual-Pixel CMOS autofocus which helps users capture moving subjects with precision. It comes with a 3-inch LCD display with a touchscreen. Additionally, Canon has also provided users with a Creative Assist feature which provides editing and connectivity options. As for the video, the camera can shoot full-HD video at 60fps.

The Canon EOS M100 comes with an ISO range of 100-25600 and also has the ability to shoot in RAW. As for the connectivity options, you get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and NFC.
