Following in footsteps of all the leading telecom network providers, India’s state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) has announced a couple of new special tariff vouchers (STVs) with unlimited voice calling. Irrespective of your network circle, as long as you have a BSNL prepaid connection, you can benefit from unlimited voice calling (local and STD) all over the country.

Unlimited national roaming calls, however, are limited to select areas like Mumbai and Delhi. Furthermore, customers can also personalise their favourite ring back tone (RBT), also known as Caller Tune. These two plans cost Rs 99 and Rs 319. The only difference is in terms of their validity. BSNL Rs 99 plan is valid for 26 days whereas, on the other hand, BSNL Rs 319 plan is valid for 90 days. All other benefits are more or less the same.

In recent news, BSNL announced similar offerings for their postpaid users. They announced a monthly plan that costs Rs 1,595 and offers unlimited data and voice calls. Click here to know more about it.

BSNL is doing a lot of things right lately, especially since the company announced its foray into 4G, which is sort of a must-have makeover for the company. Their 4G service rollout shall come into effect starting from select states like Kerala and Odisha.

News agency, PTI reported earlier that BSNL hopes to roll out 10,000 4G mobile towers by March this year and the company seems to be inching closer towards enhancing their infrastructure and readying themselves to compete with the likes of established players in the telecom industry like Airtel, Jio, Idea and Vodafone.
