Users should note that BSNL does not currently offer 4G connectivity, and all data offerings from the company are in the 3G spectrum.

“BSNL offer best prices & plan to our mobile customers considering present trend of usability in industry. We are committed to provide affordable and efficient services to all segments of our mobile customers,”

R.K.Mittal, Director (CM) BSNL Board said.

BSNL and other telecom providers due to the introduction of Reliance Jio have been on their toes and introduced special plans for their customers. During the period of Eid-ul-Fitr, the company introduced two combo vouchers for Rs. 786 and Rs. 599. The company previously had introduced the Chaukka 444 plan which succeeded the Triple Ace 333 plan. The Chaukka 444 plan offers users 4GB 3G data per day for 90 days. To avail this plan users need to recharge their numbers with Rs. 444. The Tripple Ace plan offered users 3GB data per day for 90 days.

Though BSNL has been offering all these plans in 3G as they do not have access to 4G bands, they have been quite active in introducing good plans to retain their customers and to not lose them to other telecom operators like Vodafone, Airtel, Jio and so on.
