BSNL on Tuesday launched a new offer for its postpaid customers named the “Loot Lo” offer. Under this offer, the company is giving its postpaid users up to 60 percent discount and 500 percent more data. The offer can be availed across India. This offer from the government-owned company comes just after Reliance Jio revised its plans.

A total of seven postpaid plans come under the BSNL Loot Lo offer. These include Rs. 225, Rs. 325, Rs. 525, Rs. 725, Rs. 799, Rs. 1,125, and Rs. 1,525 plans which offer free additional data usage of 500MB, 500MB, 3GB, 7GB, 15GB, 30GB, 60GB, and 90GB, respectively. There aren’t any speed restrictions on the plans, however, it should be kept in mind that the company currently, only offers data usage on the 3G network, and hasn’t yet moved towards providing 4G to its customers.

Recently, BSNL had launched two new plans for its prepaid users. The first plan was for Rs. 249 in which the users would get unlimited local and STD calls from BSNL to BSNL network along with 1GB of 3G data per day for a duration of 28 days since the recharge. The second plan has been priced at Rs. 429 under which the users would get unlimited calling along with 1GB of 3G data per day for 90 days since the day of recharge.

Additionally, the company also recently partnered with Micromax to launch a budget 4G VoLTE enabled feature phone, Bharat 1. This feature phone competes with Reliance Jio’s JioPhone, which is also a 4G VoLTE feature phone.
