Asus, the company who came with the first phone including 8GB of RAM, is now working on its ZenFone 4 line-up and will be launching them in July. The smartphones will be a successor to the last year’s ZenFone 3 line-up, and this time the new family with come with 5 variants – ZenFone 4 Pro, ZenFone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Max, ZenFone 4, and Asus ZenFone 4V. All the five phones have been spotted on the Google Play Store support sheet which is further shared on ZenTalk forum, which is Asus’s own forum for its users. The new model numbers are per listed in the support sheet are – Asus ZenFone 4 (ZE554KL), Asus ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL), Asus ZenFone 4 Pro (Z01GD), Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie (Z01M), and Asus ZenFone 4V (V520KL/A006).
Asus ZenFone 4 itself has two different variants which may offer different RAM and storage combination. The Asus ZenFone 4 Pro has just made its place in the ZenFone 4 line-up whereas the ZenFone 4V can be a Verizon Exclusive variant as per the reports suggest. The ZenFone 4 selfie has been spotted on GFXBench where the specifications were noted.
The device features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 32GB of storage and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. As the name suggests, the phone is for selfie lovers and will include a 12-megapixel front facing camera and 16-megapixel rear facing camera.
Also, according to the reports, the Asus ZenFone 4 Max will sport a 5.5-inch (720×1280 pixels) display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 or 660 chipset. The device is expected to come with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The rumours also suggest that the Asus ZenFone 4 Max will include a dual-camera (12MP + 5MP) setup at the rear.
