Asus recently launched the new Asus Zenfone 4 lineup internationally. At an event, today in New Delhi has launched three new Zenfone phones in India. The company previous year had launched the Asus Zenfone 3 lineup extremely late in the country due to which the sales numbers weren’t that good. As we had covered before, Asus has brought both the Zenfone 4 Selfie and the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro to India, both these phones focus on taking selfies, and with the help of these two, the company is trying to cash in on the trend. While the global launch witnessed two Selfie-focused Asus smartphones, the company has introduced one more model, called Zenfone 4 Selfie (dual camera version).
Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie
The Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie sports a 5.5-inch HD display. It comes with 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 430 SoC. It runs on Google’s Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. All of this is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
The main USP of the phone is its selfie camera, it features high-resolution 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. The front camera can also capture super-wide 140-degree panoramic selfies with Selfie Panorama mode. The front camera accompanies a soft LED flash module to capture better selfies in low light. On the back, it features a 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF, EIS and LED flash.
Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro
The Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro also has the same USP as the Zenfone 4 Selfie, however, it has a much better selfie camera sensor. The Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro features a dual camera system on the front, a 24-megapixel DuoPixel camera sensor paired with a 5-megapixel wide angle lens. It also features a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX351 sensor and it is capable of recording 4K videos.
As for the specifications, the Selfie Pro features a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display. It comes with 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. It runs on Android 7.1.1 and is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery.
Asus Zenfone 4 (Dual Camera version)
As the name suggests, this smartphone features dual front-facing cameras with a 20-megapixel primary sensor having f/2.0 aperture, and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with 120-degree wide-angle lens. Like the other Zenfone 4 Selfie handsets, it offers front-LED flash for better selfies in low light condition. At the back, it sports a 16MP camera with EIS and LED flash. Specifications wise, the Zenfone 4 (dual camera version) carries a 5.5-inch IPS HD display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone offers triple-slot tray which means you can insert two SIM cards and a microSD card as well. The phone packs a 3000mAh battery which is claimed to deliver a day worth of usage.
Asus Zenfone 4 Selife series Price & Availability
The Asus ZenFone 4 Selfie will be available for a price of Rs. 9,999, the Selfie 4 Pro will cost Rs. 23,999, meanwhile the Zenfone 4 Selfie (Dual Camera Version) is tagged at a price of Rs. 14,999. All of these smartphones will go on sale from September 21, and will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
