Apple’s iPhone series has always been under speculations. With several rumours spinning around the tech giant’s devices, a new report has surfaced revealing Apple new 5-inch variant iPhone7. As per a report from the Japanese news outlet Macotakara, Apple might launch a third model in the iPhone 7s series in 2017. The 5-inch iPhone might feature a vertical dual-camera system.
The report quotes the information sourced from a Taiwanese supplier. It claims that the 5-inch iPhone will be identical to the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus in terms of specifications. The phone is expected to feature a dual-camera set up. The device will be different in terms of sideways setup as pitched on iPhone 7s and 7s Plus.
The iPhone 7 series currently comes in two screen size variants- a 4.7-inch display and a 5.5-inch screen size.
The 5-inch iPhone rumour however is not new as Nikkei, a media corporation in Japan already reported back in October about a 5-inch iPhone to arrive in 2017 with the new lineup having all-glass design on the rear.
There is a profusion of rumours regarding the Cupertino giant’s upcoming flagship iPhone as well. The leaks have indicated that the next iPhone would come with OLED display and the Plus variant from the new iPhone series will feature a big 5.8-inch screen. KGI securities and Apple’s noted analyst Ming Chi-Kuo in November cited that Apple will launch three iPhones in 2017-a 4.7-inch LCD iPhone 8, a 5.5-inch LCD iPhone 8 and an OLED iPhone model.
Though several reports are spinning on the web, we will still have to take every bit with skepticism and wait till the Cupertino giant launch its new iPhone series. Apple’s iPhone series 2017 launch might likely happen in September following the traditional launch cycle.
