    • The iPhone SE 2 may have a design similar to its predecessor
    • It is said to be powered by the Apple A10 chipset
    • Expected to feature upgraded TouchID and camera modules

Apple recently launched three new iPhones globally – the iPhone X, 8 and 8 Plus. It seems like that may not be all from Apple. A recent report from China Mobile News states that Apple will have a launch event in the first half of 2018 to launch its much rumoured iPhone SE 2. If the report is to be believed, then the second generation iPhone SE will come with a similar design as its predecessor but with upgraded specifications.

As per the report, iPhone SE 2 will sport a 4-inch display similar to the one currently seen on the original iPhone SE. It will be powered by Apple’s A10 chipset and will feature upgraded TouchID and camera modules. The USP of the speculated iPhone SE 2 will be its mid-range pricing. It is expected to be launched around $450 (Approximately Rs. 29,255).

The iPhone SE has been extremely popular in various parts of the world. It has made it possible for a broader user base to experience Apple products due to the low price tag. Also, not everybody likes big screen phones, even now! The current iPhone SE sports a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 640 x 1136 pixels. It is powered by Apple’s own A9 chipset clocked at 1.84GHz along with 2GB of RAM. It is available in four storage options – 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. All of this is backed by a 1,624mAh non-removable battery and runs iOS 11.1.
