Last year, Apple showcased the most powerful PC ever built by them at WWDC, the iMac Pro. The company back in December started shipping the device to select markets. Now it has finally reached the Indian shores.

As per a report by Gadgets360, Apple authorised Indian retailers have started receiving shipments of the machine. We can expect to see the device made available by the end of the week, the report states.


Apple had previously said that it will only be bringing one variant of the iMac Pro to India which will be priced at Rs 4,15,000. As for the specifications, it will feature a 27-inch 5K display with a resolution of 5120 x 2880 pixels. It is powered by the Intel Xeon W 8-core processor clocked at 3.2GHz along with Turbo Boost of up to 4.2GHz. It features 32GB of DDR4 RAM along with 1TB of SSD storage. As for the graphics, the iMac Pro features an 8GB AMD Radeon Pro Vega 56 GPU.

When Apple launched the iMac Pro at WWDC 2017, there was also a Space Grey coloured Magic Trackpad 2, which could be purchased as an add-on while purchasing the PC. However, the report states that it won’t be available in the Indian market yet, but it will be making an appearance soon.

When this new Mac was unveiled i,t left people in awe as it is the true successor to the Mac Pro which hasn’t been updated since the past 4 years.
