According to a report, Apple iPhone X will be available on Airtel’s online store starting November 3. However, it is not yet clear whether the device will be available for pre-order via Airtel. We reached out to the company, however, they declined to comment at the moment.
If the report is true, the move may be an aftereffect of Reliance Jio which recently announced introductory buyback offers on Apple iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and X in India. Under these offers on Reliance Jio, users would be able to get 70 percent buyback guarantee from Reliance Jio if the devices are used for a year with their Rs. 799 plan or above. As per reports, these offers may have managed to lure customers into buying Apple iPhone 8 and 8 Plus from Reliance Jio. Reliance Jio-Apple iPhone offers are valid upon purchasing the devices via Reliance Digital Stores, Jio.com, MyJio or Amazon.in.
Recently, Airtel launched another offer wherein users can avail a postpaid plan along with the purchase of Apple iPhone 7. This plan can be purchased at a downpayment of Rs. 7,777. Onwards, users will have to pay a monthly instalment of Rs. 2,499. Under the bundled plan, users can benefit from unlimited calls in addition to 30GB of 4G data per month.
The AppleiPhone X sports a 5.8-inch full-screen Super Retina OLED display. It is powered by the company’s own A11 Bionic chipset. It comes in two internal storage variants – 64GB and 256GB. It comes running on Apple’s iOS 11 out-of-the-box. As for the camera, the device comes with two 12-megapixel camera sensors on the rear. On the front, it features a 7-megapixel TrueDepth camera. The 64GB internal storage variant is available at Rs. 89,000 and the 256GB variant costs Rs. 1,02,000.
