Flipkart has started four-day Festive Dhamaka Days sale to counter Amazon’s ongoing Great Indian Festival sale. The sale went live on Thursday, October 5 and will continue till October 8. As part of the festive celebration, the leading e-retail site has bundled several offers and deals across all categories on its platform. Under its mobile dhamaka day sale, Flipkart is offering Apple’s premium flagship model, the iPhone 8 at a discounted price of Rs. 59,999 (flat Rs. 4001 off).

The offer, however, is applicable only on the 64GB variant of the new iPhone 8. The company is also giving an additional discount of up to Rs. 20,000 on exchange of your old smartphone. There is a buyback guarantee of Rs. 99. PhonePe users can get up to 20 percent cash back (maximum Rs. 200) if they make payments via PhonePe. No cost EMI for the iPhone 8 starts at Rs. 10,000 a month while other EMIs starts from Rs. 2,051 per month.

Flipkart has also partnered with Axis Bank to provide up to 10 per cent cashback on credit and debit card with maximum cashback of Rs. 2,000 (no minimum value). Axis Bank Buzz Credit card holders can get an additional discount of up to 5 percent.

Apple iPhone 8 was launched in India for a price starting at Rs. 64,000 for the 64GB model. The new iPhone model incorporates glass and aluminium design. The phone features a 4.7-inch Retina HD display with True Tone technology. It is powered by Apple’s proprietary A11 64-bit six-core processor to work in conjunction with Augmented Reality (AR). The device comes with wireless charging support and is IP67 water and dust resistant.

In terms of imaging, the iPhone 8 carries a 12-megapixel sensor and comes with colour filter, optical image stabilisation (OIS), ISP (image signal processor) to enable better HDR photos and a new quad-LED dual-tone flash. It can also record 4K videos at 60 frames per second (fps) and 1080p slow-mo at 240 fps. Up front, it has a 7-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, 1080p video recording capability, auto HDR and auto image stabilisation. It comes with inbuilt stereo speakers that are claimed to be up to 25 percent louder. Connectivity options include- 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, and GPS. It is available in two storage options-64GB and 256GB and comes in three colour options- Silver, Space Grey and new Gold colour.
