Apple’s upcoming flagship presumed launch date is just a few months away and rumour mill has been churning out leaks revealing the purported design of the device.

A new video featuring a purported iPhone 8 dummy model has surfaced online, giving a fair idea at the new smartphones design and features. The alleged iPhone 8 video leak aligns with leaks and rumours pointing to an ‘edge-to-edge display’. The video shows the device back and front. The Home button and Touch ID sensor is not visible which suggest that it is built into the display. The smartphone is seen with a glass body encased in a stainless steel frame. The handset back side reveals a dual-rear camera setup in a vertical orientation. The Apple logo, however is missing, hence it is not certain if this unit would represent the final design.

The iPhone 8 video leak comes courtesy of the mobile leaker Benjamin Geskin who has been quite ‘outspoken’ about the iPhone and has posted several renders and leaks in the past. The leakster in a tweet claimed that the iPhone 8 will get features like wireless charging, 3D face-scanning and AR functionality.

Geskin further shared images that appeared on the popular Chinese social media Weibo. According to him the renders are said to be of an iPhone 8 clone that was designed based on an early iPhone 8 prototype model. The smartphone in the renders revealed on Weibo is seen featuring a front display with slim bezels, a vertical camera, an aluminum body in multiple colours and Touch ID sensor at the back panel.

While multiple prototypes are said to be under testing, the actual design for the next flagship from Apple is yet to be confirmed by the company. The Cupertino tech giant is expected to unveil three smartphones this year- Apple iPhone 7s with a 4.7-inch display, iPhone 7s Plus with a 5.5-inch and iPhone 8 featuring a big 5.8-inch display.
