Apple iPhone 6 was officially launched back in September 2014. The phone’s powerful performance and fast A8 processor became one of the most preferred factor amongst the iPhone fans. Although Apple Inc. discontinued the sale of iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the iPhone 5s models, a few select carriers are still selling the discontinued models.
Amazon India has offered the iPhone 6 Space Grey colour model with 32GB storage for a price of Rs. 28,999. The offer is valid till Tuesday, March 7. The online e-retailer is also giving an exchange offer of up to Rs. 8,550 off but it depends on the smartphone the user is exchanging. The 16GB version of the iPhone 6 however retails for a price of Rs. 30,999 on Amazon. Apple iPhone 6S (32GB) is listed at Rs 40,999, meanwhile the iPhone SE (Space Grey 16GB) that ships the same hardware as the iPhone 6S is listed for a price of Rs. 27,799.
Notably the 32GB variant of the iPhone 6 never came under the official release listing. The Cupertino tech company only launched the 16GB, 64GB and 128 storage variants of the previous flagship. The smartphone is being offered by third-party retailers.
The offer on the new storage variant of the iPhone 6 will be made available in other countries as well. According to a report from 9to5Mac, the iPhone 6 in Gold colour option will launch in Taiwan on March 10. The report notes, “So as we noted yesterday about the 32GB Gold iPhone 6 apparently slated for a March 10 release with Taiwan Mobile, these 32GB versions popping up could potentially be new models.”
