Since the last few days, Airtel is regularly announcing new plans for its customers that offer 4G data and free, unlimited voice calls. Airtel just announced its new FRC 495 plan to compete with the likes of Jio Rs 399 plan. Once subscribed to Airtel Rs 499 plan, users benefit from 1GB of data per day in addition to unlimited voice calls and SMSes for 84 days.
Jio Rs 399, plan on the other hand, offers free unlimited voice calls for both local and STD. It offers unlimited data with the usage limit of 1GB dat per day. So, 84GB of monthly data is reserved for 4G. Once you’ve hit the FUP, you’ll continue browsing the web at 128 kbps. In addition to this, free SMSes are included in the plan as well.
Airtel recently announced a new Rs 799 special recharge plan to select users. But since it’s a special recharge plan, it may not be available for new Airtel users. Subscribing to this plan will also get users 3GB of data per day. It has the validity of 28 days. So, users need to recharge the plan every 28 days in order to retain all the benefits.
Airtel Rs 799 plan counters Reliance Jio iPhone offer. Jio has a similar Rs 799 tariff plan up its sleeves that offers 90GB of data, free SMS, unlimited voice calls and Jio subscription to services.
