Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 last week, but the phone went on sale yesterday without any flash sale. Today, Xiaomi took on Twitter claiming that the phone has got overwhelming response and it sold over 250,000 (2.5 lakh) units in first 10 minutes of the sale on Mi.com and Flipkart.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes in three variants. The 2GB RAM with 32GB storage is priced at Rs 9,999. The 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage comes at a price of Rs 10, 999. The 4GB RAM version with 64 GB storage is priced at Rs 12,999.
In terms of specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 sports a 5.5-inch full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display. It boats of metal unibody design, just like the Redmi Note 3. The fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel.
The Redmi Note 4 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno GPU 506. The battery is of 4,100mAh. It has a 13-megapixel primary camera (Sony CMOS sensor with 1.12µ pixel size) with phase detection auto focus (PDAF) and f2.0 aperture. The front features a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The device runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with MIUI 8.0 skinned on top.
Now the phone is out of stock on both websites – Mi.com and Flipkart and there is no information on the availability. It comes in Gold, Grey and Silver colour options and Xiaomi will soon introduce the new Matte Black colour variant.
