OnePlus is ready to launch its new phone OnePlus 3T on November 15. But just a day before its launch, the rumors of OnePlus 3T with 8GB RAM is making a drill over the internet. As per a report from the technology news and media network The Verge, that the new OnePlus 3T might be the first phone to come up with 8GB RAM.
The company last week tweeted that the flagship smartphone will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 chipset. It also confirmed that the new device which will be shipped with Android Marshmallow. The phone will also get the latest Android Nougat upgrade soon.
Although the new OnePlus 3T is said to be the successor of OnePlus 3, the upgraded version might have similar configurations like its previous flagship smartphone. The phone will feature a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s IMX398 sensor.
The phone battery backup might encircle between 3,500 mAh to 4,000 mAh. The new OnePlus 3T is also expected to have internal storage variants of either 64GB or 128GB.
Though rumors claimed the Chinese smartphone maker plan of replacing its new smartphones with LCD display due to its shortage of AMOLED displays, the company’s co-founder Carl Pei on the counter said, “OnePlus will be staying with Optic AMOLED displays for the foreseeable future”.
OnePlus 3 which was launched in June this year comes at a price tag of Rs. 27,999.
With rumor mill swirling around the new smartphone, Evan Blass, the influential leakster also adds a pinch to it. According to the leakster the OnePLus 3T is most likely to be priced at around $479 (Rs.31,000 approx.)
