Vivo V5

While most manufacturers are pushing out the best value for money propositions by packing in as much high-end tech as possible in a pocket-friendly price tag, Vivo has had other ideas. The Vivo V5 packs a 20 Megapixel front camera, and a front-facing LED flash. But being priced very close to phones like the Lenovo Z2 Plus, the Vivo V5 struggles to make a strong case for itself.

The Vivo V5 is a very expensive product for its specifications and performance. The biggest trick in its bag, the selfie camera, is good but not exceptional enough to convince us to loosen our purse strings for it. It offers the performance figures of a budget phone, at the price of a mid-range phone. The Vivo V5 manages to handle things such as emails, social media and some lighter apps, but as the specifications are sub-par, it fails to impress on that front. As a phone, then, it would only make sense to buy this if you’re only concerned about selfies. And nothing else at all.
