On the software front, the InFocus Vision 3 ships with Android 7.0 Nougat with custom skin Smile UX on top. Like most Chinese phones, it doesn’t offer an app drawer and all the apps appear on the home screen itself. While accessing the Settings menu we were awed by some of the additional features listed there.

infocus-vision-3_850The company makes good utilization of word stock on its new phone. For instance, when you open the Settings, under ‘Special Settings’ you will find a feature called “SOMATOSENSORY Motion”. Don’t get overwhelmed because it is nothing but gestures that give you the option to take a screenshot with three finger slides, quick access to camera etc.

infocus-vision-3_750The Quick Ball feature that most of you must have seen on Xiaomi smartphones is available on the InFocus Vision 3 as well. The feature basically allows you to have quick access to some of the core functions. The feature can be enabled in Settings > SoftKeySettings, but wait, the name is different. It’s called Suspension Ball instead of Quick Ball (ingenious on the company’s part). On the good side, the phone has split-screen functionality which is a good add-on for multimedia users.
